Ashley Smith, founder of Batana Babe, experienced a "significant 35% boost in sales during Small Business Saturday" through her "Visit Honduras from Home" campaign. This campaign bundled Batana Oil with traditional Honduran goods, offering customers a unique experience.
Eric Koenig, the founder of Twigs Paper, utilized geo-targeting and local hashtags on social media to drive a "22% increase in sales." He highlighted that his strategy connected with local customers and those interested in sustainability.
Ross Plumer of RJP Design saw a "30% increase in sales" by collaborating with other local businesses. Plumer emphasized that these cross-promotions created a sense of community among customers.
Dylan Cleppe from OneStop Northwest noted a "30% increase in foot traffic" by hosting an event on SBS. According to Cleppe, events provide experiences that lead to increased customer engagement and sales.
Phil Portman of Textdrip shared that strategic SMS campaigns helped double sales by building anticipation and urgency before SBS. He stressed the importance of creating excitement early on to encourage purchases.
