The Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), in collaboration with The Harris Poll, conducted a survey to assess U.S. adults' views on local chambers of commerce. The study focused on the perceived role and value of these chambers within communities and their significance to businesses.

The poll revealed that 81% of U.S. adults consider their local chamber a reliable resource and partner for businesses. An example is the Detroit Regional Chamber, which is recognized as a dependable partner in the Detroit Region. The chamber's Public Policy and Business Advocacy team regularly testifies on crucial issues affecting its members, organizes significant events, and provides essential reports and polls.

The survey highlighted several key points: Chambers are trusted entities; membership enhances a business's reputation; they serve both businesses and communities; and business owners recognize the value offered by chambers.
