The awards program is accepting nominations for various categories, including two new honors: the Disability-Owned Small Business Awards and the Micro Business Awards.
The program acknowledges Michigan companies for their business efforts and positive economic impact. This year, the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) Foundation will serve as managing partner, guided by a new advisory committee.
Awards available for nomination include:
- Michigan 50 Companies to Watch Awards
- The Best Small Business Awards
- Veteran-Owned Small Business Awards
- Minority-Owned Small Business Awards
- Women-Owned Small Business Awards
Additionally, awards will be given to MCSB Alumni who were previously recognized as a Michigan 50 Company to Watch in two categories: Great Place to Work and Strategically Focused.
Interested parties can nominate a small business at michigancelebrates.org/, with self-nomination also encouraged. Nominations will close on November 11, and winners will be announced at the gala in April 2025.
