Detroit City Football Club has announced updates to its roster for the 2025 USL W League season. This marks the club's fourth year in the league, and they have introduced new players while maintaining a significant portion of their existing lineup.

New additions include defender Mira Webster from Whitby, Ontario, Canada. She joins after recovering from a medical redshirt season at Western Michigan University. Before her hiatus, Webster played 52 matches with the Broncos, contributing significantly to their first-place finish in the 2023 MAC regular season.

Joining Webster is Abby Werthman, also from Western Michigan University. The Livonia native had an impressive season in 2024 with 12 goals and nine assists. Previously, Werthman scored 31 goals over three seasons at Madonna University.

Forward Kayla Rollins comes from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she concluded her college career with a record-setting performance of 18 goals in 2024.

The team also welcomed forward Camryn Evans from Michigan State University and midfielder Zoe Greenhalge who played in the MASL W League during the 2024-2025 season.

Third-year head coach David Dwaihy emphasized roster continuity as key to success. "We are blessed to have such a large group of returning players this summer," said Dwaihy. "As talented as they are in a sporting sense, they are, above all, wonderful people."

Returning players include Kayla Addison from Grand Valley State University and Elisa Baeron from Bowling Green among others.

Last year under Coach Dwaihy's leadership, Detroit City FC finished with a record of 10-2-0 and secured their first-ever playoff berth by winning the Great Lakes Division. They advanced to win the Central Conference but were defeated by Colorado Storm in the National Semifinal.

More updates on roster changes and coaching staff will be released leading up to their opening match against AFC Ann Arbor on May 17.
