Detroit Regional Chamber President and CEO Sandy K. Baruah appeared on CBS Detroit's "Michigan Matters" with Carol Cain to discuss the political climate in Michigan. The discussion also included insights from Lena Epstein, a Republican strategist and former Michigan Republican Chair, as well as Michael Griffie, the Detroit Metro Leader for AECOM.

The conversation centered around developments in metro Detroit and the influence of Washington politics on Michigan.

Peter Quigley, Chair of the 2025 Mackinac Policy Conference and First Vice Chair of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, also participated. He shared his perspective on changes observed across the Detroit Region and nationwide in his role as President and CEO of Kelly.
