She stated: "Republicans want to give away TRILLIONS of dollars in tax breaks to billionaires and pay for it by cutting Medicaid. Medicaid is not just a service—it is the difference between life and death. I joined advocates to defend our right to health care. We won’t back down."

Later that day, she commented on a legal decision involving former President Donald Trump. On March 13, 2025, she remarked: "A federal judge has confirmed what we all know: Trump is not a king, and his purge of federal workers is illegal."

In another tweet on March 13, 2025, Tlaib celebrated Detroit's culture and history. She posted: "Happy #313Day, Detroit! Our city is more than just a place; it’s a movement. From our history of organizing and resilience to our Motown sound, we transform the world. Proud to represent the most beautiful, Blackest city in America!"
