The Detroit Regional Chamber has announced that Christine Rogers, the Detroit Promise Manager, and Nyia Slade, the Detroit Promise Marketing and Engagement Manager, have been chosen as fellows for the 2025 program of New Leaders Council (NLC) Detroit.
Christine Rogers and Nyia Slade will participate in the NLC Institute starting in January. The institute is conducted through chapters across the nation and aims to equip leaders with skills and networks necessary for success. It emphasizes leadership development and fosters connections among changemakers to create a lasting impact.
"The Institute culminates in a capstone, where fellows identify a project that fills a need in the community and is aligned with their passions and goals," according to NLC.
The selection of Rogers and Slade reflects their expertise, experience, and resilience in driving change within their roles at the Detroit Regional Chamber.
