Black Tech Saturdays' founders join Detroit Policy Conference lineup

Alexa and Johnnie Turnage, the founders of Black Tech Saturdays, are set to participate in the 2024 Detroit Policy Conference. The event is scheduled for Thursday, January 23, at the MotorCity Casino Hotel.

The Turnages will present their vision aimed at empowering Black tech communities. Their focus is on closing the racial wealth gap through technology-driven initiatives. They also plan to discuss strategies for economic growth and enhancing diversity within the tech industry.

The conference theme is "Driving the Innovation Economy," with sessions running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
