Devon O’Reilly, the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Senior Director of Community Engagement and Leadership Development, has been recognized among WJR and the Detroit Economic Club’s 2024 class of Rising Stars. This year’s class honors 20 local leaders making significant impacts in their industries, communities, and families.
As Senior Director, O'Reilly has played a pivotal role in various community and leadership initiatives. Notably, he leads the Chamber’s NeighborHUB program, which has awarded $2.2 million in grants to diverse nonprofits and small businesses. Additionally, O'Reilly has contributed significantly to forming knowledgeable leaders in the Detroit community through programs like Leadership Detroit, Mackinac Future Leaders, and the Harvard Business School Young American Leaders Program.
All of this year’s Rising Stars will be honored on Wednesday, Sept. 18 during a live broadcast on WJR.
O’Reilly spoke with WJR’s Chris Renwick about his recognition as one of this year’s Rising Stars and his work within the Detroit community.
