Suppliers sometimes struggle with understanding the resources available to help them transition in the defense and aerospace industries, impacting efforts to increase the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Submarine Industrial Base (SIB).
To address this challenge, the Office of Defense and Aerospace Innovation (ODAI) is hosting a webinar series. The series will include four steps over four months for suppliers interested in learning more about these industries or seeking a refresher course on requirements, potential services, supplier readiness, financial assistance, grants, new business opportunities, and more.
The webinar schedule is as follows:
- Sept. 10, 2024, 2-3 p.m.
Step 1: Transitioning to the Defense and Aerospace Industry (SAM, CAGE Codes, Supplier Readiness, etc.)
- Oct. 8, 2024, 2-3 p.m.
Step 2: Small Business Certifications required for Government Contracting and other services from the SBA
- Nov. 12, 2024, 2-3 p.m.
Step 3: CMMC, Cyber Grants, AS9100, and other certifications
