State of the Region event in Detroit focuses on economic insights and trade policy

Registration is open for the upcoming 2025 State of the Region event scheduled for April 1 in Detroit. Attendees will gain insights into the Detroit Region's economic environment, future prospects, and its standing relative to peer regions.

The event features a panel discussion addressing recent trade policy changes and their repercussions on Michigan's economy. Contributors to the panel include James Blanchard, former Governor of Michigan and former United States Ambassador to Canada, Colin Bird, the Consul General of Canada in Detroit, and Aida Dismondy, a Senior Counsel at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP.

The event will be held on April 1, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Elevate at One Campus Martius.
