RSV is a common flu-like respiratory virus

You may have heard about the rising cases of respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, this fall. RSV is a common flu-like respiratory virus. It is frequently mild but can cause serious lung infections in infants and young children, as well as in older adults and people with pre-existing medical conditions.
