Great news to share from APFD! We have been approved for a 5 City Regional Grant for approximately $90,000 (Grant total is $461,250) for new structural firefighting turn-out gear for our firefighters. This includes 24 coats, pants, helmets, Nomex hoods, structural firefighting gloves and ANSI vests.
There is a 10% match from the City. We are thankful to our partners at the Southgate Fire Department for taking the lead on this FEMA AFG Grant.
