City of Grosse Pointe recently issued the following announcement.
In-Home COVID Vaccinations & Boosters For Seniors
You can help fight COVID-19 with just one phone call to Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA). Over 1000 seniors made the call to DAAA and the vaccine was delivered to them in the comfort of their homes.
DAAA in collaboration with a federally qualified health center and their providers, delivers in-home COVID vaccinations and boosters to seniors 60 yrs. old and up, their households, and adults living with a disability. They offer the preferred CDC approved COVID-19 vaccines, Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna. Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine is also offered. They come to you!
If you or a homebound older adult that you know is interested in being vaccinated, contact the DAAA Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5pm and ask for the COVID-19 vaccination team to schedule an appointment by calling 313-446-4444.
