Results from the Nov. 2 Election

City of Northville recently issued the following announcement.

Results from the Nov. 2 election favored a newcomer, John Carter, while Andrew Krenz retained his seat, after fellow council members voted for him to fill a vacancy in April 2021.  

Council member Patrick Giesa lost his reelection bid. Mayor Brian Turnbull ran unopposed and will serve for his second two-year term. New council members will be installed in office at the Nov. 8 meeting.

Unofficial vote tallies are:

John Carter: 1,087

Andrew Krenz: 973

Patrick Giesa: 645

Election results will become official after being certified by the county board of canvassers.
