City of Ecorse issued the following announcement on July 21.
There is an effort to help people that suffered flood damage to file FEMA claims for Ecorse, River Rouge, SWD 48217 and other areas.
They want to bring a mobile unit to assist folks with completing the application. New Mt Hermon's assistance in identifying how many people who experienced their basements flooding during the recent storms.
The Detroit Library Mobile Unit will be coming to the Kemeny Center to assist those who may need help completing paperwork to file a claim. If interested, please call the church office at (313)928-2828 and leave a voice message with your name and phone number.
She needs to get an idea of the number of people who may be interested to the Mobile Unit.
