American Axle & Manufacturing issued the following announcement.
#TeamAAM recently shared what it’s like to have a manufacturing career with thousands of middle and high school students at the annual Automotive STEAM Days event at Macomb Community College in Michigan.
To show rather then just talk about why our work makes a difference, our engineers and technicians built an interactive RC car experience that demonstrates firsthand how different driveline systems perform on stable ground, slippery surfaces and even high grade ramps. We also brought the 2019 I-PACE, equipped with Electric Drive Technology by AAM, on hand so the students could see how our dreams and designs translate into reality. Detroit Auto Scene was on hand for the event and talked with our Engineering Manager Greg Woodside about why this event is so important and inspiring for stuadents.
