David Coulter, Oakland County Executive; Warren Evans, Wayne County Executive; and Mark Hackel, Macomb County Executive, are scheduled to speak at the 2026 Detroit Policy Conference. The event will take place on January 29, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Department at Hudson’s in Detroit.

Each county executive will have an individual session during the conference to discuss their perspectives on the future of their respective counties and how they are addressing key challenges. Organizers say these sessions aim to provide insights into the direction of the Detroit Region as new leaders assume significant roles.

Registration for the conference is open to both members and non-members of the chamber. Chamber members can attend for $280, while non-members are charged $380.

"Throughout the Conference, each leader will take the stage to share their outlook on their county’s future and discuss how they are addressing its most pressing challenges. Their individual sessions will offer valuable insights into the Detroit Region’s future direction, especially as new leaders step into other major roles across the Region."
