Detroit Lions announce roster changes ahead of upcoming season

The Detroit Lions have made several roster changes, according to an announcement from the team’s headquarters in Allen Park, Michigan.

The organization has signed safety Daniel Thomas to the active roster. In addition, defensive linemen Tyler Lacy and Tyrus Wheat have joined the team via waivers, coming from the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys respectively.

The Lions also announced additions to their practice squad. The following players have been signed: defensive lineman Myles Adams, wide receivers Ronnie Bell, Tom Kennedy, and Jackson Meeks; offensive linemen Trystan Colon, Mason Miller, Michael Niese, and Dan Skipper; defensive back Erick Hallett; tight end Zach Horton; linebacker Anthony Pittman; running back Jacob Saylors; safety Loren Strickland; and edge rusher Isaac Ukwu.
