The Detroit Lions have announced that their 2025 Training Camp, presented by Rocket, will begin July 26 at the Meijer Performance Center in Allen Park. This marks the 19th consecutive year the team has held training camp at this location. The camp will include two joint practices with the Miami Dolphins and one with the Houston Texans.

Fans interested in attending must register for free tickets, with a maximum of four per person. Registration opens July 15 at www.detroitlions.com/trainingcamp. Additionally, three practices will be exclusive to Lions Loyal Members, who will receive separate information on early registration starting July 8.

The camp will again feature the Pet Adoption Day event on July 29, sponsored by Pet Supplies Plus. Since its start in 2023, nearly 40 dogs have been adopted during this initiative.

“Detroit Lions Training Camp, presented by Rocket, offers activities for all ages including photos with Roary, the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders and Lions Legends. Guests can also enjoy ticket and merchandise giveaways, interactive games and activities, plus free face painting and balloon artists on select days. Local Detroit-area food trucks will be on-site with food and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase,” according to the team.

Parking is free near the Meijer Performance Center at 222 Republic Drive in Allen Park. Fans parking in Fairlane Circle lots can use a complimentary shuttle service to reach the venue. Staff will guide visitors to designated parking areas.

Upon arrival, attendees should enter through either the Republic Drive entrance or the back gate off Southfield Freeway (M-39 North) Service Drive based on their parking location.

Practice sessions are open to fans only when held outdoors; if weather forces practice indoors, sessions will be closed to the public. Updates about practice times or changes due to weather can be found at www.detroitlions.com/trainingcamp or through notifications via Twitter (@Lions) and text alerts by texting Training Camp to 313-546-6700.

“Daily practice information, including weather updates, practice times and any changes to the schedule will be available at www.detroitlions.com/trainingcamp, on the team's Twitter (@Lions) or via Lions text message notifications by texting Training Camp to 313-546-6700 to sign up. Fans who register for tickets for open practices will receive a confirmation email prior to the practice with the latest fan information.”

There are specific rules regarding what fans may bring into camp: large bags are not allowed except clear plastic ones within set size limits; personal items may be inspected; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult; re-entry is not permitted; live streaming or video recording of any part of practice is prohibited; phones must remain silent or vibrate mode while inside.

A merchandise trailer offering official team gear—including new jerseys—will be present during camp days. After each practice session concludes, select players are scheduled to sign autographs for fans around the venue but autographs are not guaranteed.

More details about schedules and policies can be found on www.detroitlions.com/trainingcamp as updates become available.
