Detroit City FC will host Indy Eleven in an Eastern Conference match on Saturday night at Keyworth Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and will be available for streaming on ESPN+ and broadcast locally on CW Detroit 50 (WKBD-TV). Michigan residents can also stream the match for free on CBSDetroit.com.

Earlier this week, Detroit City played against Rhode Island FC in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The match was decided by a single goal from a penalty kick after a handball, resulting in a 1-0 loss for Detroit City.

Midfielder Kobe Hernandez-Foster made his first appearance for Detroit City during the game against Rhode Island FC, playing the entire match. His performance earned him Le Rouge Legacy Number 229.

Indy Eleven enters the weekend just one point behind Detroit City in the standings, sitting in seventh place while Detroit holds sixth. Over their last five matches across all competitions, Indy Eleven has recorded three wins and recently advanced to the knockout stage of the USL Jägermeister Cup.

Last weekend, Indy Eleven lost to Tampa Bay Rowdies with a score of 3-1. Indy conceded early but equalized before halftime through Benjamin Ofeimu’s header. However, Tampa Bay scored twice more in the second half to secure victory.

The two teams have already met once this season in Indianapolis, where they finished with a 2-2 draw. In that encounter, Detroit City took an early lead with goals from Connor Rutz and Darren Smith within the first 15 minutes. Elvis Amoh scored both goals for Indianapolis to tie the game after his team went down to ten men.
