Meet the Team

The Detroit Regional Chamber's Public Policy and Business Advocacy team has seen some changes in roles and assignments. The Chamber continues to collaborate with two multi-client lobby firms, Acuitas and Clark Hill Public Strategies. Sarah Hubbard leads Acuitas, a full-service government relations firm, while Brad Williams from Clark Hill Public Strategies contributes to strategic planning.

The Chamber aims to maintain its role as the business voice in government, focusing on a world-class business climate, talent pipeline development, next-generation mobility advancement, and economic growth for the Detroit Region.

In the short term, the team's priorities include:

Economic Development: Equipping Michigan with tools for current business growth and attracting global businesses.

Business Climate: Keeping Michigan open for business by minimizing roadblocks for starting or operating businesses. Low taxes and controlled regulations are prioritized.
