The Detroit Red Wings have released their preseason schedule for the 2025-26 season. The team will start with a home game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, September 23 at Little Caesars Arena. This will be followed by three consecutive games: hosting the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, September 25, and away games against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, September 26, and the Sabres again on Saturday, September 27.
Detroit will finish September with two more matches. They will host the Penguins at Little Caesars Arena on Monday, September 29 before heading to Chicago to play against the Blackhawks on Tuesday, September 30.
The preseason concludes with two games against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The first match will take place in Toronto on Thursday, October 2, and they will meet again at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday, October 4.
Information regarding ticket sales for both preseason and regular season games is expected to be announced later.
