Detroit mayoral candidates set for Mackinac Policy Conference debate

Five candidates vying for the position of Detroit's mayor have been selected to take part in a debate at the upcoming Mackinac Policy Conference. This event is organized by the Detroit Regional Chamber.

The chamber’s political action committee revealed on Friday that the candidates invited to participate include former Detroit police chief James Craig, city council member Fred Durhal III, former council President Saunteel Jenkins, Rev. Solomon Kinloch Jr., and council President Mary Sheffield.
