Kyle Allen is preparing for his eighth season in the NFL. He comes to the Lions after a season with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024. His previous teams include the Buffalo Bills in 2023, the Houston Texans in 2022, the Washington Commanders from 2020 to 2021, and the Carolina Panthers between 2018 and 2019.
Allen has participated in 31 games, 19 of which he started. His career stats include completing 442 out of 705 passes, resulting in a 62.7% completion rate. He has accumulated 4,753 yards, 26 touchdowns, and thrown 21 interceptions, achieving a passer rating of 82.3. Allen entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Panthers following the 2018 NFL Draft, coming from college football at Houston.
