Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, representing Michigan's 12th district, has recently shared her views and activities through a series of tweets. Known for her active engagement in legislative matters and community initiatives, Tlaib continues to voice her concerns on various issues impacting her constituents.

On March 11, 2025, Tlaib expressed strong opposition to a funding bill passed by Republicans. She stated that the bill "gives Musk and Trump a blank check and cuts billions in veterans benefits and housing assistance for our families." Tlaib criticized the lack of protections for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid within the bill, concluding with her decision: "I voted NO."

The following day, March 12, 2025, Tlaib highlighted an event at Highview Elementary where she participated in reading activities as part of March Reading Month. She shared her enthusiasm about the experience by stating "Loved reading to Highview Elementary students for March Reading Month! Their excitement is a reminder of why I fight for their future."

Later on March 12, 2025, Tlaib addressed environmental concerns related to urban green spaces. She led an initiative with 40 colleagues urging the Department of Agriculture to restore funding for Urban and Community Forestry Grants. In her tweet she emphasized that "Cutting off grants for neighborhood green spaces that improve our air quality is reckless."
