He shares the top spot for goals with 19 and ranks fifth in points with 27. Additionally, he has a plus-six rating and is tied for third in game-winning goals with six.
Previously, Dries spent the entire 2023-24 season with the Abbotsford Canucks, where he led the team with 29 goals and was among the top players in several other statistical areas. His performance included three points over six Calder Cup Playoff games.
Dries began his professional career as a free agent signing by the Texas Stars on May 10, 2017. Since then, he has accumulated experience in both the NHL and AHL. In the NHL, he has scored 26 points across 122 games while playing for teams such as the Colorado Avalanche and Vancouver Canucks. In his AHL career, he has amassed 231 points over 322 games.
A native of Macomb, Michigan, Dries played college hockey at Western Michigan University from 2013 to 2017. He served as team captain for three seasons and was named to the NCHC’s Second All-Star Team during his senior year. Before college, Dries played for the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL and helped them secure a Clark Cup championship in 2012. Internationally, he won a gold medal with Team USA at the World Junior A Challenge in 2012.
