Tigers announce ALDS roster against Cleveland Guardians

The Detroit Tigers have revealed their 26-man roster for the upcoming American League Division Series against Cleveland. This announcement follows their successful sweep of Houston in the Wild Card series, marking Detroit's return to the postseason for the first time since 2014 and the 17th time in franchise history.

The roster comprises 12 pitchers and 14 position players. The series is set to commence this afternoon with the first pitch scheduled for 1:08 p.m. ET. Game Two will take place on Monday at 4:08 p.m. ET. The series will then move to Detroit for Game Three on Wednesday at 3:08 p.m. ET, with a potential Game Four on Thursday at 6:08 p.m., and if necessary, Game Five will occur next Saturday in Cleveland at 4:38 p.m. ET.

Broadcast coverage includes Games 1-3 and Game 5 airing on TBS, while TNT will cover Game 4. Additionally, all games can be accessed via the Tigers Radio Network.

The list of pitchers includes Beau Brieske, Jason Foley, Sean Guenther, Brenan Hanifee, Tyler Holton, Brant Hurter, Jackson Jobe, Ty Madden, Keider Montero, Reese Olson, Tarik Skubal, and Will Vest.

Position players featured are Kerry Carpenter, Dillon Dingler, Riley Greene, Andy Ibáñez, Jace Jung, Colt Keith, Justyn-Henry Malloy, Zach McKinstry, Parker Meadows, Wenceel Pérez, Jake Rogers, Trey Sweeney, Spencer Torkelson and Matt Vierling.
