There were 168 Hawaiian students enrolled in Wayne County districts in the 2022-23 school year, 1.8% less than the previous year, according to the Michigan Department of Education.

Data showed that Wayne County welcomed 258,751 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hawaiian students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the county districts.

Among the 135 districts in Wayne County, Detroit Public Schools Community District recorded the highest enrollment of Hawaiian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 27 students.
