Washington, D.C. – As part of his commitment to promoting inclusivity, Representative Shri Thanedar initiated a collaborative briefing with Hispanic community leader, Rogelio Landin, to gather insights from members of the Hispanic community. The Hispanic community, representing 10% of the residents in Michigan's 13th Congressional District, plays an essential role in shaping the region's cultural and socio-economic landscape.
This briefing aims to encapsulate a diverse array of opinions, concerns, and suggestions from leaders who represent the broad spectrum of the Hispanic community. The information from this session will equip Representative Thanedar with the tools to more effectively address the unique needs of the Hispanic constituency in MI-13.
Marking a continuation of this initiative, Representative Thanedar will address the Hispanic community in a landmark virtual Town Hall meeting on August 28th, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. This platform promises to be an engaging forum for questions and dialogue, fostering community involvement in decision-making processes.
