The City is moving its COVID-19 vaccinations and testing from the Northwest Activities Center to the Detroit Health Department

On February 24, COVID-19 vaccinations and testing operations will close at the Northwest Activities Center and will move to the Detroit Health Department, 100 Mack Avenue. 

Vaccinations and testing will take place at the Detroit Health Department beginning Monday, February 27. Appointments are recommended, and walk-ins are welcome. 

How to schedule an appointment:  Visit https://detroitmi.gov/departments/detroit-health-department to access the self-scheduling page, and complete the form or Text “TEST” to (313) 329-7272.

Hours of Operation

COVID-19 Vaccinations

Monday – Friday

10 a.m. – 6 p.m.                                

COVID-19 Testing

Monday – Friday

7 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

The Samaritan Center, 5555 Conner Street, will remain open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and will provide COVID-19 vaccinations only.

Although COVID-19 is being considered as an endemic, vaccinations and testing are still vital for Detroiters, and the Detroit Health Department will continue to offer services to help reduce the spread of the disease, and keep Detroiters healthy.
