City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on Jan 10.
WINTERFEST IS BACK, this Saturday, January 15th from 12:00pm-4:00pm at Pier Park!
Winterfest has something to do for everyone in the family! We will have a variety of games to be played (football toss, cornhole, ping pong, putt-putt, hockey shoot). For the animal lover we will have one of the best petting zoo's around provided by Animal Oasis. The ice rink will be open for skating (bring your own skates). The festival tent will be rocking with the band The Oneders and the Grosse Pointe Farms Boat Club will be selling adult beverages. Save your appetites and enjoy food from either PizzaPazza or Detroit Mini Donut. Winterfest wouldn't be complete without ice carving demonstrations taking place throughout he event.
