City of Grosse Pointe Farms recently issued the following announcement.
Wayne County Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off Program:
Wayne County recently notified the City of their new voucher program for disposal of household hazardous waste and made a limited number of vouchers available to the City. In order to obtain one of the vouchers from the City, you may stop by the City Hall (M-F, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) or the Public Safety Department (24/7) at 90 Kerby Road. Vouchers will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis.
You can then take your voucher, along with the acceptable items to:

The drop off-site is open M-W-F from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and T-Th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
