On October 22nd, 2021 our beloved Deborah "Nana" Wilkins, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. "Nana" was a well loved member of our family here at Melvindale Police and Melvindale City Hall and it breaks our hearts to share that she has passed, she will be greatly missed. "Nana" worked with Melvindale Police as the Ordinance Officer then as the glue that kept us together at the front desk as our secretary for six years. We were blessed to share many memorable moments with "Nana" and we will forever treasure her bubbly personality, her contagious laugh, her work ethic that will remain unmatched and her love and dedication for her family including all of us. Our condolences go out to Deborah's son as well as her family and friends.
The funeral arrangements for Deborah "Nana" Wilkins will be held at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home Chapel and visitation will be Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 from 2:00 pm-8:00 pm with the service at 6:00 pm.
