The Detroit Regional Chamber has been named a Top Workplace by the Detroit Free Press for 2025, marking the sixth time the organization has received this recognition. The award highlights the Chamber’s efforts to create a positive work environment and support its employees in serving both the Detroit Region and the broader business community.
Selection for the Top Workplaces list is determined entirely by employee feedback collected through a confidential survey administered by Energage LLC, an employee engagement technology firm. The survey evaluates various aspects of employee experience, such as feeling respected and supported, opportunities for growth, and empowerment at work.
The Chamber employs a diverse workforce and offers competitive wages, benefits, and professional development within an inclusive culture. Employees benefit from flexible work arrangements and participate in several internal groups including an Organizational Culture Committee, Diversity Champions group, and staff Equity Council. There are also opportunities for social, philanthropic, and educational involvement beyond daily job responsibilities.
"The Chamber is grateful to receive this honor and celebrate another year of fostering a company culture that best serves its employees. The team looks forward to continuing to foster an award-winning company culture and make a positive difference across the Detroit Region," according to a statement from the organization.
