The Detroit Red Wings have announced their 2025 training camp roster and schedule. The team will bring 62 players, including 32 forwards, 22 defensemen, and eight goaltenders, to Centre ICE Arena in Traverse City, Michigan. Training camp begins on Thursday, September 18, and will run for three days with daily practices and scrimmages.
After the initial sessions in Traverse City, the Red Wings will travel to West Michigan for the annual Red & White Game on Sunday, September 21. This event will take place at Van Andel Arena, which is also home to the American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids Griffins.
Following the Red & White Game, the team will return to Detroit to prepare for an eight-game preseason schedule. Home games during this period include matchups against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, September 23; Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, September 25; Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday, September 29; and Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, October 4. All home games are scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start.
A limited number of tickets for all training camp sessions in Traverse City are available online at https://mynorthtickets.com/organizations/centre-ice. Ticket prices are $20 general admission for practices on Thursday and Friday (September 18-19), and $30 general admission for Saturday’s session (September 20).
Tickets for the Red & White Game can be purchased through griffinshockey.com. Prices range from $28 to $63 reserved seating, with an additional $3 per ticket if bought on game day.
