Tickets for the 2025 GameAbove Sports Bowl are now available for purchase, with prices starting at $29. The game is scheduled for December 26, 2025, at Ford Field in Detroit. Fans can buy tickets at www.gameabovesportsbowl.com. The teams that will participate in this year’s matchup will be announced on December 7, known as Selection Sunday.
The bowl game typically features teams from the Big Ten and Mid-American Conference (MAC). Officials from both conferences work with bowl representatives after the regular season to determine which teams will play.
This year marks the eleventh edition of the GameAbove Sports Bowl, which is owned, hosted, and operated by the Detroit Lions. It is also the second year that GameAbove Sports serves as the title sponsor.

Last year’s contest set a record when it went into six overtimes before Toledo defeated Pitt 48-46. The previous matchup featured Toledo Rockets from MAC and Pitt Panthers from ACC.
