Detroit City Football Club will conclude its group stage matches in the USL Jägermeister Cup with a game against Westchester SC this Saturday. The match will take place at Keyworth Stadium, starting at 7 p.m., and will be aired nationally on ESPN2.

In their previous match, Detroit City played to a 0-0 draw against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC. Both teams had limited goal-scoring opportunities, each managing only two shots on target. Goalkeeper Carlos Saldaña achieved his second clean sheet of the season.

During their last Jägermeister Cup outing, Detroit City secured a point with a penalty shootout win over Hartford Athletic. Matt Sheldon scored twice to force penalties, and Carlos Herrera's crucial save in the fifth round allowed Michael Bryant to secure the victory.

Detroit City is currently third in their group with five points. Hartford Athletic holds second place with seven points, while Rhode Island FC leads with nine points. Although Detroit City cannot win the group, they can advance if they win in regulation, Hartford loses in regulation, and other league results are favorable.

Westchester SC has yet to earn any points in Group 4. In their last league game, they drew 1-1 with One Knoxville SC after an early setback was offset by Juan Obregon's equalizer.
