The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has opened applications for its 2025 CO—100 award program, inviting small businesses that are change-makers, innovators, and problem solvers to apply. The program seeks to recognize small businesses that drive growth and ingenuity both locally and globally. Businesses can be nominated in up to five categories, including tech innovation, marketing excellence, global expansion, longevity, and company culture. The deadline for applications is July 7, 2025.
The awards list highlights small businesses excelling in ten categories: Growth Accelerators, Community Champions, Micro-Business Leaders, Champions of Adaptability, Customer Champions, Global Stars, Tech Innovators, Enduring Businesses, The Disruptors, and Culture Champions.
Ten businesses will be selected as "Top Honorees" from the CO—100 list and will each receive a $2,000 award. One business will earn the title of “CO— Top Business 2025” along with a $25,000 prize.
All applicants will receive a one-year paid membership to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce valued at $250. This membership provides resources and support to small businesses.
Honorees will gain nationwide recognition by being part of the exclusive CO—100 list of top small and mid-sized businesses in America. This offers opportunities for networking and brand exposure.
Applicants can also benefit from media exposure as those on the CO—100 list may be featured across various news outlets. Additionally, they will have a dedicated business listing on CO—'s website.
An awards ceremony and gala are scheduled for this fall at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Washington D.C., where honorees will network with previous winners and Chamber executives.
Participants join an exclusive community that contributes to CO— content and events while gaining exposure to an elite judging panel consisting of over 30 leaders and influencers from various fields.
CO—100 honorees might also access exclusive offers from sponsors designed to help small businesses succeed.
Businesses on the CO—100 list may participate in future U.S. Chamber events as part of a small business panel sharing insights on various topics relevant to business operations.
