The Detroit Lions have signed cornerback Rock Ya-Sin as an unrestricted free agent. The signing was announced from Allen Park, Michigan. Details regarding the contract were not disclosed.

Ya-Sin is entering his seventh season in the NFL. He spent the 2024 season with the San Francisco 49ers. Previously, he played for the Baltimore Ravens in 2023, the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, and the Indianapolis Colts from 2019 to 2021.

Throughout his career, Ya-Sin has participated in 79 games, 40 of which he started. His career statistics include 195 tackles, with 162 of them being solo. Additionally, he has 31 pass defenses, two interceptions, two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, a quarterback hit, and four special teams tackles. Ya-Sin was drafted by the Colts in the second round, 34th overall, during the 2019 NFL Draft from Temple University.
