Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, representing Michigan's 12th district, has taken to social media to express her concerns over several pressing issues. Her recent tweets highlight her opposition to U.S. military actions in Yemen, the Trump Administration's immigration policies, and a jury verdict affecting environmental justice and Indigenous rights.

On March 18, 2025, Tlaib criticized the U.S. president for military actions in Yemen. She stated: "Once again, a U.S. president is bombing Yemen, the poorest country in the world. This cruelty must stop. The president cannot circumvent Congress and the Constitution for more endless war. Too many Yemeni lives are lost when we keep choosing bombs and destruction."

Later that day, she addressed immigration issues under the Trump Administration on March 18, 2025: "The lawless Trump Administration is violating a federal court order and deporting hundreds of immigrants to a forced labor camp in El Salvador, without a shred of due process. Using the same law that led to the mass internment of Japanese Americans. This is fascism."

On March 20, 2025, Tlaib expressed her disapproval of a jury verdict related to environmental justice: "This sham verdict from a jury with direct ties to the fossil fuel industry is an attack on Indigenous people, our environmental justice movement, and our right to protest. We will not back down from these corporate polluters decimating our planet and our First Amendment rights."
