Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, representing Michigan's 12th district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently shared her thoughts on several issues via social media. Her posts reflect on Black History Month, geopolitical conflicts, and economic power dynamics.

On February 1, 2025, Tlaib posted about her upbringing in Detroit, highlighting its cultural and historical significance. She wrote: "Growing up in the most beautiful, Blackest city in America I was surrounded by love, and a deep sense of community. Detroit birthed movements, and raised me to fight for justice. This Black History Month, we honor our Black neighbors who inspire and lead a better future for all."

On February 3, 2025, she commented on the situation in Gaza and the West Bank with a critical stance towards ongoing military actions: "You cannot continue bombing Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and call it a ceasefire."

Later that day, Tlaib addressed concerns regarding economic control by wealthy individuals. She expressed opposition to Elon Musk potentially managing significant financial resources tied to public welfare programs: "We cannot allow Elon Musk, the richest man on earth, to seize control of $6 trillion in Treasury payments, including Social Security checks, Medicare benefits, and tax refunds. An unelected billionaire should not have power over our families' livelihoods."
