The Toledo Rockets and the Pittsburgh Panthers are set to compete in the 2024 GameAbove Sports Bowl at Ford Field, Detroit, on December 26. The match will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN+. Tickets start at $29.

Toledo enters with a 7-5 record, marking their 15th consecutive season without a losing record. Head Coach Jason Candle leads the team with 72 wins and has never experienced a losing season during his tenure. Key players include junior quarterback Tucker Gleason and first-team All-MAC safety Maxen Hook.

Pitt also concluded their regular season with a 7-5 record. Head Coach Pat Narduzzi is the second winningest coach in school history with 72 wins. Notable players include all-purpose back Desmond Reid and linebacker Kyle Louis.

Both teams will participate in community activities around Detroit, including volunteering at Gleaners Community Food Bank. Since 2014, participating schools have packaged over 290,000 pounds of food for local families.

This year marks the bowl game's 10th anniversary, now sponsored by GameAbove Sports. The company focuses on global sports business development and strategic investments.
