Crain's honors Detroit leaders shaping Michigan's future

The Detroit Regional Chamber is acknowledging several of its member companies and associates who have been recognized among Crain’s Detroit Business' Newsmakers of the Year. These individuals were selected by Crain's journalists for their significant impact on advancing metro Detroit and the state of Michigan.

The list of notable figures includes Mary Barra, Chair and CEO of General Motors Co., and Mike Duggan from the City of Detroit. Bill Ford, Executive Chairman of Ford Motor Co., is also recognized, along with Vinnie Johnson, Founder and Chairman of Piston Group. Claude Molinari and Alexis Wiley, Co-chairs of the NFL Draft Local Organizing Committee, are among those honored. Additionally, Santa Ono, President of the University of Michigan, and Alexa and Johnnie Turnage, Co-founders of Black Tech Saturdays, are acknowledged for their contributions.
