The Detroit Red Wings will conclude their three-game homestand with a match against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday afternoon at Little Caesars Arena. The game is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m., with broadcast coverage available on FanDuel Sports Network Detroit and the Red Wings Radio Network.

Fans attending the game early will receive a captain Dylan Larkin Bobblehead, courtesy of Comerica, as part of a special promotion for the first 7,500 attendees.

Michael Rasmussen shared his thoughts on the team's performance, stating, "We’ve been playing pretty good. I think we’ve had jump. We were obviously talking about special teams a little bit, so just got to clean up a few things there."

The Red Wings aim to recover from their recent 5-4 loss to the New Jersey Devils. Despite ten skaters earning points and Lucas Raymond extending his goal-scoring streak, Detroit's penalty kill struggled during Friday's game.

Head coach Derek Lalonde emphasized the importance of improving their penalty kill. "Even of late, it’s frustrating in that structure looks a little bit better," he said. Captain Dylan Larkin echoed this sentiment by focusing on details and communication within the team.

Patrick Kane participated in part of Saturday's practice but will miss Sunday's game due to an upper-body injury. Lalonde noted that Kane is making progress but remains unavailable for now. Additionally, goalie Alex Lyon is still sidelined with a lower-body injury.

Vancouver arrives in Detroit following an overtime victory against the Buffalo Sabres and holds an impressive road record this season. Lalonde commented on Vancouver's balanced lines and strong road performance: "They’re really impressive on the road."

Key players for Vancouver include captain Quinn Hughes and Conor Garland, both having recorded over 20 points this season. Goalie Kevin Lankinen has contributed significantly with an 11-3-2 record.

Rasmussen acknowledged Vancouver's depth and success over recent years: "Couple top-end defenders and good guys up front," he said.
