GameAbove Sports becomes title sponsor for college football bowl at Ford Field

GameAbove Sports has been announced as the new title sponsor for the annual college football bowl game at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. The event, now named the GameAbove Sports™ Bowl, is scheduled for December 26, 2024, with kickoff set for 2 PM ET. Tickets will be available starting October 16 at www.gameabovesportsbowl.com.

"We are thrilled to align ourselves with such a wonderful sports event and part of the college bowl season," stated TJ Lang, former NFL player and ambassador for GameAbove. He emphasized that this partnership reflects GameAbove's mission to support sports and create opportunities for future athletes while expanding their presence in Detroit.

The collaboration involves DLI Entertainment, a division of the Detroit Lions, aiming to enhance the fan experience and uphold a cherished tradition in Detroit. "We are excited to help GameAbove Sports expand throughout the city of Detroit with this new era of our bowl game," said Brad Michaels, Executive Director of Bowl Game & Events for the Detroit Lions.

This year's GameAbove Sports™ Bowl will feature teams from the Big Ten and Mid-American Conference (MAC), marking its tenth annual occurrence at Ford Field. The partnership promises to maintain the game's status as a highlight of college football's postseason.
