The Detroit Regional Chamber has announced that Jade Scott, Senior Director of Outreach and Partnerships for the Detroit Promise, is among those recognized as a Michigan Chronicle 40 Under 40 honoree.
The Michigan Chronicle recently unveiled its list of the 2024 40 Under 40 honorees. This recognition highlights young professionals across various industries who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and community dedication. The honorees were selected from over 200 nominees.
This year's honorees come from diverse fields such as healthcare, finance, education, and the arts. Notable figures include Stormie Anderson, CEO of House of Contour Med Spa; Marcus Gowdy, VP Financial Consultant at Fidelity Investments; and Zach Carr, Assistant Principal at Denby High School.
Community service remains a strong focus among the honorees. Hernando Flowers from Barton Malow and Jonathan Pulley from Rocket Community Fund are noted for their contributions to workforce development and educational outcomes in Detroit.
In arts and culture, Malik Jackson of George Crockett Academy and Megan King from 313 Presents are fostering talent development. Entrepreneurs like Sean Williams of Detroit Vs Everybody contribute to Detroit's creative economy.
The list also includes leaders like Antonice Strickland in public relations and Tevin Kellum in security with the Detroit Lions. Each honoree reflects the diversity and strength of Detroit’s emerging leaders.
