The Detroit Regional Chamber announced on Friday that it will not endorse a candidate in the U.S. Senate race between Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Elissa Slotkin. The chamber emphasized that both candidates are strong and would serve Michigan well.
The chamber’s political action committee was unable to reach the two-thirds consensus required to endorse one candidate over the other. As Michigan's largest local chamber of commerce, the organization represents businesses across an 11-county region in Southeast Michigan.
