Washington, D.C. – Congressman Shri Thanedar hosted a highly impactful town hall event to address the needs of low-income individuals and families in Michigan's 13th Congressional District. The town hall, held on May 25th, brought together community members, expert guests, and key stakeholders to discuss and highlight the various resources available to support those in need.

Throughout the event, Congressman Shri Thanedar emphasized his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of hardworking families in the district. He highlighted a range of crucial resources and programs designed to assist low-income individuals.

The town hall featured expert guests Mia Harnos, Chief Operating Officer at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency, and Shama Mounzer, Empowerment and Integration Executive Director at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency, who were instrumental in shedding light on the available resources and programs in Michigan's 13th District.

“By coming together, the community can collectively work towards ensuring equitable access to vital resources and support systems for all individuals and families,” said. Rep. Thanedar. Congressman Shri Thanedar extends his heartfelt gratitude to all the participants who joined the town hall and engaged in the discussions.
