From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, Livonia City Hall will be closed to the public as the City conducts a large-scale emergency preparedness exercise. Members of the public will not be permitted to enter City Hall while the drill is taking place, and signs will be placed around the Civic Center campus indicating the temporary closure. City Hall will re-open at 1 p.m., at the conclusion of the exercise.
The public is advised that an increase in first responder presence outside City Hall will accompany the drill, and an increase in activity at Trinity Health Livonia hospital may also be visible as part of the exercise.
